Merlin Breij Group
This ensemble purpose is the performance of the large-scale compositions from Merlin Breij's catalogue. this band serves both as a composition laboratory and as the leading band of the composer's musical project.
This group is set as a modular band, because it can be restructured according to the needs of the work to be created, this project can be made up of five or ten musicians from different backgrounds, from jazz to classical et contemporary music.
Currently, there has been around twenty musicians who took part of this band, at one time or at another.

"Strata" has been performed by this ensemble during a swiss tour in 2023's fall. The last performance has been recorded, and is available on all streaming platform.
